I trimmed the bangs using scizzors that were meant for layers, so I feathered out the blunt edge. It looks a lot better. I haven’t tried it on yet, but I’m thinking that the wig will look a whole lot better than it did before. I’m packing these scissors just in case. :P
This is myself as Miss Quinn back in March of last year. Guys, it’ll be a year that I haven’t been in her traditional costume. I know I have so much to come back with..even better than this. I miss being Harley so much!
Cosplay Halp! Coraline Jones! Fashionistas Welcome!
Hey everypony! I know some of my followers are fellow cosplayers, so if I could get some help on this, I would be very grateful. If you’re a fashionista, I need your help, too, and I’ll tell you why: I’m looking for certain clothes that I can’t find, even though I’ve been looking for them everywhere I can think of, they’re not turning up! If you’re a resourceful cosplayer or a very rescourceful, well-rounded fanshionista, you may be a huge help to me!!
So here is Coraline in three different outfits.
I plan on doing a mix between the first and last one.
Anywho, step one:
Her yellow and orange (or orange and dark orange-red) striped sweater. I’ve seen cosplayers do either one of those styled sweaters, but I favor orange and yellow stripes better.
I have looked everywhere online for the sweater! This includes:
- Walmart
- Amazon
- Target
- Forever 21
- Urban Outfitters
- Deliah’s
- Claire’s
and probably a few more that I can’t think of. Does ANYBODY know where I might find one????
Secondly: The yellow wellingtons…I can’t find a pair that aren’t under $50. Wtf. Help with that would be wonderful as well.
